It blows to get flat.

Make sure to check you tire pressure.

Properly inflated tires will make tires last longer than an under inflated tires. It will also give up to 3.3 % better gas mileage. This savings saves the amount of pollution and burning of fossil fuels.
Try this on your bicycle. Inflate the tires to half the recommend level. Now, ride around the block and see how many times you peddle your bike. Now inflate the tires to the recommended level. Ride the same block and see how many times you peddle your bike. The increased amount of peddles it takes to go around the block is increased when the tires are not at recommend level.
The principal works the same in a car. A car will have better steering control and stopping ability with properly inflated tires. It cost very little time and money to make sure that tires inflated to recommend levels.
With the cold weather of winter we don’t think of tires and global warming. With a decrease in temperature the pressure in tires decreases. This leads to under inflated tires. Tires should be checked every 15 degrees drop in temperature.
With the hot weather of summer it works the opposite. With the increase of temperature the pressure in tires increases. This leads to over inflated tires. Tires should be checked every 15 degrees increase in temperature.

Every little part we do can improve our lives as well as the lives of everyone else on the planet.
